Show info | C’mon aboard as Cap’n Barry takes the radio station and the listeners for an adventure, a voyage through an eclectic array of musical genres. Along with many favorite Ports-of-Call there’ll be some deep water album cuts on some not-so-regularly traveled sea lanes in Rock, Soul, R&B, Blues, Folk, Reggae, & Country. The only thing we’ll plunder is the record library & the Cap’n promises to have you back in home port safe & sound (or so he says!)……a pirate’s word is his bond!
You can parlay* your suggested routes before shoving off to barrys@fdu.edu
So, plan on sailing for a couple of hours each Sunday afternoon with Pirate Radio and get the stale air of commercial radio out of your lungs (& your ears)!
Departure: Dock 89.1, on the hearty vessel; WFDU-FM, Sundays at 1pm.
*Parlay: Part of the mythical set of pirate laws. Parlay entitles its invoker with free passage to negotiate with a ship’s captain until the negotiations are complete. |
