| Bio: | Stacy Wendell has been with WFDU- FM for over twelve years, starting as a host of Classic Country and helping create a gospel format for the station. In 1999, her Gospel Revelations show was born and she was named Traditional Gospel Music Director. Born and raised in New Jersey, Stacy has worked in the entertainment field since the age of 15 and is sensitive to the needs of the NY/NJ metro area listeners. As a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Stacy is well versed in many areas of broadcasting, promotions, and event planning. She is also a member of the Gospel Announcer's Guild. In honor of her 10 year broadcasting anniversary, the Freeholders of Bergen County New Jersey declared June 6, 2009 as “Stacy Wendell Day.” Outside of radio, Stacy is a featured writer for The Love Express Christian Newspaper. She is currently pursuing her BA in Christian Counseling at Somerset Christian College and is a graduate of The New York Theological Seminary Certificate Program. In 2007, Stacy was consecrated for service as a Missionary and is currently a Minister in Training at Trinity Baptist Church in Hackensack NJ. In her spare time, Stacy treasures time with family and friends. She loves to cook and you can often find her in the kitchen rattling pots adding her special ingredient to every dish… love. |
